Independent Candidate for Mayor Bo Dietl went head to head with other candidates this morning in Brooklyn – although his only real competition in this race is Mayor Bill de Blasio. Bo participated in a candidates forum at the Fort Hamilton Senior Recreation Center on Fort Hamilton Parkway where he discussed his agenda for a more affordable, and cleaned up city. Bo is very much looking forward to debating Bill de Blasio on October 10th and plans to take direct aim at de Blasio for his horrible track record of lies, corruption and mismanagement.
After the forum, Bo spent the day in and around Bay Ridge and talking about solutions to issues facing Brooklyn including supplemental transportation, better local jobs and the preservation and creation of affordable housing.
A major highlight of the day took place in Borough Park this afternoon. Excitement is building from 18th Ave to Fort Hamilton Parkway as Jewish New Yorkers prepare for the feast of Sukkot. Bo shared in the joyous atmosphere and spoke to residents about the issues facing their neighborhood and community including affordable housing, safety and accessibility.
